I have so enjoyed watching CG's archive channel...because, well, I miss the 'old' days. I know I haven't been on as long as the rest of you, but I loved all the roos and chickens, and the goats...since the ducks came, they have taken over the yard, and pretty much run the show, and that makes me sad...because my chicken viewing has been taken from me! Wah! I know a lot of you (if not most) love the ducks, and while I do enjoy them, I prefer the chickens, and would have loved to have some new roos and babies added to the mix to make the chicken lovers happy too. All the chickens are getting old, and there aren't as many antics as there used to be either. I don't know, change is good too, and while the ducks make me laugh, I sure miss all the chicken fun I have viewed in the past. So, I spend my free time watching Big Red court hens, Red Jr. observing, and Rocky supervising...I watch Peggy and Ms. Limpy and a younger, goofier Slim, and Nanki chasing his girls. The dynamics of the yard are so changed..the chickens don't do much in the camera view hardly at all..so, that is where I have been, watching CG's alternate channel, lol and then there is www.africam.com! OH my! That is an awesome place, multiple cams in Africa, and you see lions, elephants, rhino and hippos...water buffalo and wildebeest too..it is really something...give it a whirl, guys! Anyway, I hope to post on here more if you all do too! hugs!

Hi Schno!! Yes, we all miss the "good old days" and hopefully we will see more chickens in the future! The ducks do keep us entertained in the evenings, and more folks are coming to chat AFTER roundup which is interesting in itself. We do miss seeing you in the yard! Since you are a member of this forum, you should be able to go view the various chatters photo albums. Lots of neat photos and we will be including some of the old photos too.
